New graduates earned a gross average $13,325 per month.

In a survey of 2,383 graduates carried out by the university the most popular career path remained commerce and industry, traditionally the biggest graduate employer, which attracted 20 per cent.

A further 14 per cent pursued teaching and 13 per cent went into engineering.

Ninety-four per cent found employment, began further studies or were engaged in a personal pursuit within six months.
