Messe Frankfurt is launching a trade fair brand for the three main branches of the textile industry to link the international planning and marketing of its 24 textile fairs worldwide.

The names are Heimtextil for home textiles, Interstoff for garment textiles, and Techtextil for technical textiles.

These will apply to most of the textile trade fairs organised by Messe Frankfurt, with the aim of creating a worldwide network of events for each branch of the textile industry, and co-ordinating demand and supply structures as well as quality and timing.

Companies will then be able to exhibit or participate in different events at different venues, and enjoy optimum cost and time efficiency.

Messe Frankfurt's market partners have welcomed the move, as the three titles represent long-standing well-known and important events within the industry for buying and selling worldwide, which makes them reliable marketing tools.

As part of the new branding strategy and the implementation of a worldwide sales and purchasing network, Messe Frankfurt is establishing numerous textile fairs worldwide.

Sao Paulo in Brazil will host its first Interstoff and Techtextil fairs this year, while Heimtextil Rossija is planned for Moscow in the autumn. The Indian sub- continent is another focal point for new textile fairs.
