Flamenco Star looks to be in the pink at trackwork and has too much class for them in the third event which opens tomorrow night's Happy Valley Triple Trio.
The son of Pursuit Of Love, a good second on debut over the Valley's 1,200 metres, has also drawn barrier one in this 1,000-metre dash.
That should be a big advantage as he should get some breathing space on his outside with Barish jumping from two under the inexperienced Billy Ho and Yours Truly, a first-starter, in three.
Flamenco Star has been working extremely well and the way he's been shaping, he should have no trouble in the near future holding his own against better opposition than he faces tomorrow.
He is probably going to be an attractive win proposition let alone acting as a banker in the TT, which means all he has to do is run into the placings. It would be a major shock if he was unable to accomplish this.
And what's more, he could represent a bit of value around the 3.5- or 4-1 mark due to the presence of the seven-pound claimer Henry K. C. Tsang on his back.
