Born and raised in Zambia and Switzerland, the former owner of the African Heritage Gallery in Pacific Place now imports African sculptures for her new business, Zimbabwe Stone Sculptures.
Favourite book: My favourites are ones I often refer back to, such as Way Of The Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman, for thought-provoking ideas, and Stephanie Winston's Getting Organised, which has changed my life by teaching me how to consider my problems as an exciting opportunity for getting organised.
Magazine: After tending to all my works and hobbies, I have little time left for magazines.
Film: I love films but because I watch so many - at least three a week - I can hardly pick out a favourite. I prefer real stories with human voices, such as Hilary And Jackie.
CD: Wagner's beautiful four-part opera, The Ring Cycle, for emotional, dramatic and compelling listening. And Paul Simon's Graceland: the harmonising voices and folky sounds of instruments such as mouth organ, penny whistle and drums remind me of my childhood on a farm outside Ndola.
Car: The green Morris Minor with manual indicators I drove in Lusaka in 1963, it was the first car I owned.
