THE legions of would-be Hillary Rodham Clintons can now capture her look with an instant First Lady hairstyle.

The Hillary Wig, a stylish but synthetic pageboy with detachable hairband, comes in 50 colours and costs US$175 (HK$1,350).

The president of Jacquelyn Wigs of New York, George Mayer, saw the copies of Clinton's inaugural hat and figured: ''If they could sell that hat, why not her hairstyle?'' The wigmaker has gone the First Lady route before, with mixed success.

''We had a Nancy wig and a Jackie O wig,'' Mayer told USA Today.
