Tennis fans should be in their element this weekend as some of the best male players in the world are in town to compete in the Salem Open (Pearl, 9.30pm). While past tournaments in Hong Kong have featured perennial favourites such as Michael Chang and one or two other big names, this year's event features the best lineup yet.

The 32-man field features five Grand Slam champions and nine of the top 50 players in the ATP rankings. Tonight, TVB is screening live quarter-final action from Victoria Park.

LA Doctors (Pearl, 8.30pm) has struggled in the United States for ratings but the programme has found a sure-fire method of getting viewers to watch: have famous people as guests. Robin Williams made an appearance earlier in the season garnering huge media coverage and CBS put their faith behind the show by ordering another 22 episodes.

This show about four doctors operating a private medical practice is a nice change from the blood-and-guts gore of ER and the storylines are getting better. Indiana Pacers' star guard Reggie Miller guests in tonight's episode.

Memphis (World, 1.55am) is a Cybill Shepherd project which the one-time Moonlighting star produced and acts in. The former Miss Memphis, who admitted a few years back she was once a plaything of Elvis Presley in the 1960s, stars as Reeny Perdew, a poor Mississippi drifter who travels to the city in September, 1957.
