Sharp claims better result than analogue

Sharp's new AL-800 digital copier claims to offer better performance than standard analogue copiers. Its 600 dpi digital laser printing engine is claimed to be clearer, with finer resolution, while the AL-800 memory lets documents, once scanned, make up to 50 copies from a single scan. There is a photo mode, and a wide-zoom ranging from 50 per cent to 200 per cent. Copy speed is eight pages per minute. Price is $4,980.
