Inappropriate episode screens

On April 6, I watched the series La Femme Nikita on TVB Pearl.

The content of the episode was utterly inappropriate and the person who chose it needs to be talked to.

The theme of this so-called 'entertainment' was 'ethnic cleansing in the Balkans'. Our trendy counter-terrorists shot some border guards and a traitorous villain and then all was okay.

At the same time on BBC World and CNN were real reports of Kosovar women being raped by Serb soldiers and a picture of a boy being treated for a gunshot to the arm. He survived - his family didn't.

Surely the La Femme Nikita episode could have been postponed or even cancelled considering that ethnic cleansing is actually happening.

I would suggest that those responsible for programme-scheduling need to be aware of real-life events and put their thinking-caps on.
