Dragonair has brought in additional flights to 10 mainland routes for the summer. Shanghai and Beijing see the biggest increases, with 15 more flights a week between them.
Haikow (Hainan Island), Hangzhou and Nanjing now have daily flights under the new schedule, which runs until October 30. Flights to Kunming have doubled to four a week; Changsha, Qingdao and Xian each have three flights a week, up from two, and Chengdu has an extra flight, four a week. Trips on tick British Airways has just launched a new set of package holidays - and is offering to lend hard-up families the money to pay for them. The airline claims it is the first in the world to introduce this service. The loans will range from GBP500 (about HK$6,200) to GBP15,000. Interest is waived if the loans are repaid in full within three months.

The pink Lincoln that belonged to Marilyn Monroe, the armoured car that carried Adolf Hitler and the 'Popemobile' built for a papal visit to the UK are among the exhibits at the Imperial Palace hotel and casino museum.
There's also a museum devoted to Liberace, including many of his clothes and a collection of his pianos, one of which was owned by Chopin.
