I'm broke: star stylist
HAIRSTYLIST to the stars Kim Robinson yesterday claimed the deal which promised to turn his now-defunct business into a worldwide name has left him broke.
'I don't have any money,' Mr Robinson, 40, told the Sunday Morning Post, adding that his bank had 'called in the loan' on his business and Shek O home.
The celebrity stylist closed the hairdressing school and chain of four exclusive salons of Le Salon Orient Hong Kong on Friday, citing irreversible damage caused by the court battle over ownership shares and an injunction that barred him from the premises.
The injunction was lifted last week after 22 days. The court battle over ownership resumes next month.
'I've got friends who are helping me out,' said Mr Robinson, who has groomed the late Princess Diana, supermodel Naomi Campbell, actress Isabella Rossellini and Canto-pop star Anita Mui Yim-fong.
He said he was now facing a string of heavy bills. 'I owe a lot of people a lot of money,' he said.
Since his troubles flared, Mr Robinson said he had received commiseration letters, cards and phone calls from around the world.
