Red chip Onfem Holdings has posted a net loss of $266.3 million for last year after experiencing huge exceptional losses. The company booked exceptional charges amounting to $281.25 million, according to stock exchange data released yesterday. An unspecified revaluation deficit accounted for $245.36 million, while Onfem also made a $35.89 million provision for the decline in the value of its investments. Turnover fell to $1.63 billion, from $1.83 billion a year earlier. Losses per share were recorded at 34.47 cents, against earnings per share of 7.83 cents previously. No final dividend will be paid. A year earlier, the directors recommended a final dividend of two cents.
