Legend Holdings has signed an agreement with about a dozen information technology firms on development and expansion of mobile office solutions in the mainland.
The agreement would cover exploration and development of hardware and software in areas such as application software, networking and mobile parts.
Legend said the alliance had been formed with the aim of raising the technology level of mobile office solutions and to promote their application in the mainland.
Legend executive director Guo Wei said the alliance formed part of the company's plan to promote mobile technology product applications focusing on the use of notebook computers.
Legend is the leader in the distribution of Toshiba notebook computers.
Joining the alliance were network, software and parts producers such as Richsight Software, Penpower, Beiyang and Rising.
