Attracting a record-high of more than 700 athletes, the Queen's College annual sports meet proved a great success.
Principal Lee Kar-hung praised the keen participation of staff and students.
Tanner House won the overall championship, with Stewart House taking the cheering team title.
Guest-of-honour Chow Sik-cheong, principal of Sheung Kwai Chung Government Secondary School, addressed the gathering and presented trophies to the winners.
Mr Chow said when he was a student at Queen's College he participated in the annual athletics meet. Although he never won any medals, he said he was happy just to enter the finals.
Mr Chow said he was inspired by a philosopher's words: 'Man has to face three tiers of challenges - man against nature, man against man, and man against himself.'
