Pop king Andy Lau Tak-wah will take part in one of two charity concerts to celebrate the millennium. The concerts, hosted by Michael Jackson, aim to raise funds for children.
Other participating singers include international stars Celine Dion, Janet Jackson and Elton John.
The first concert will be held on June 25 in South Korea and the second on June 27 in Germany. Lau will represent Asia in the Korean concert.
Although Lau will be busy working in Taiwan next month, he said he was more than happy to squeeze some time from his schedule for the charity event.
Rumour has it that Leon Lai Ming still has a very special relationship with Taiwanese actress Shu Qi. Chinese newspapers reported that Lai gave Shu a mobile phone as a present.
Lai said there was nothing special about giving his friends mobile phones. He said he had given them to many friends, including Maggie Cheung Man- yuk, Mark Lui Chung-tak and Faye Wong.
