It seems no time since we were watching, live on television, the heady days of students camping on Tiananmen Square and unveiling their Goddess of Democracy. Hong Kong has never forgotten. But this year, being the 10th anniversary, June 4, will have even greater significance and both ATV and TVB have scheduled special programmes.

ATV gets there first, though, with the Inside Story (World, 7pm) team offering a two-part series.

Tonight, reporter Chris Dobson focuses on dissidents in Hong Kong, and also asks how human rights in the SAR are faring.

Interviewees include Han Dong-fang and Lau San-ching, who have both done time in mainland jails, along with local activists such as Leung Kwok-hung.
