Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa has appointed David Eldon and Professor Y. K. Cheung to the MTR Corporation Board to replace outgoing members Alexander S. K. Au and Professor Edward K. Y. Chen, who recently completed their terms of office.
Mr Eldon, the chairman of the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank, is also non-executive chairman of Hang Seng Bank, a director of HSBC Holdings, and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
Professor Cheung, the Taikoo Professor of Engineering and Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong, is known for his substantial contribution to public service and achievements in engineering research.

Ms Wong has more than 12 years of agency experience in promotions marketing and PR communications. She was previ ously general manager of Thematic Promotions.
