Amazing Thailand Grand Sale

THAILAND'S annual shopping bonanza is offering discounts ranging from 15 to 80 per cent in stores across the country this month. The 'Amazing Thailand Grand Sale' has proved such a hit with bargain hunters it is being staged for the third successive year.

Clothes, handicrafts, silk, fashion accessories, gems, jewellery, leather goods, furniture, electrical appliances, sports equipment and food are among products discounted at department stores and leading retail outlets during the shopping festival.

'Positioning Thailand as a key shopping destination is an integral part of our overall tourism promotion strategy for attracting more visitors,' a spokesman at the Tourism Authority of Thailand said.
