Street light repair imminent

I REFER to the letter from Mr Pang Chi-hung, about a faulty lamp post in Fanling Village (South China Morning Post, April 26).

The defective street lighting in question is maintained by our office. The Electrical Works Section of our headquarters has been informed of this and repair works will be carried out within two weeks. We do share Mr Pang's concern over the safety aspect of the defective street lighting.
