McDonald's Restaurants (Hong Kong) has promoted two of its senior executives.

 Peter Tan, president and chief executive officer, will become president and CEO of McDonald's China Development in addition to his current positions, giving him overall responsibility for business development in the mainland and the SAR.

 James Ip has been promoted to general manager and senior vice-president.

    Mr Ip has been with McDonald's for 18 years and has headed the Shenzhen operations since opening the mainland's first McDonald's in 1990.

News Corporation (News Corp) has appointed Robin Li as senior vice- president of finance and administration for News Corp - China.

 Previously, Mr Li worked with STAR TV, first as senior vice-president of finance, then as senior vice- president of human resources.

  He will be based in Beijing, with responsibility for finance, commer cial analysis and administrative support for all News Corp's mainland operations, as well as executive oversight of the company's Golden Mainland Productions and PDN Xiren Information Technology joint ventures.

C. Y. Leung & Co has appointed Raddy Yuen as executive director of C. Y. Leung Property Management.

 Mr Yuen has about 20 years experience in property management, management consultancy, and assets and facilities management. He is one of the principal consultants on major management-related matters in the Asia-Pacific region.

 In 1987, Mr Yuen became a statutory member of the British Institute of Management.

Datacraft Asia has appointed Basil Chan as director of finance.

 Mr Chan has 22 years experience in auditing, financial management and general administration.

  Before joining Datacraft, he was finance director of the Singapore Technologies Group and Singapore Technologies Engineering.

Cameron McKenna, an international law firm, has appointed Christopher Clarke as senior partner of Cameron McKenna Asia.

 Mr Clarke will be responsible for the development of the company's business in Hong Kong, Beijing and the region.

  He qualified as a Hong Kong solicitor in 1975 and, three years later, became managing partner of Denton Hall Hong Kong.

  In 1992, he was appointed senior partner for Asia.
