I forgot to declare company ownership, says Emily Lau

Legislator Emily Lau Wai-hing said yesterday she had forgotten to declare she owned a Swiss-registered company to manage her savings and investments overseas.
Ms Lau, of The Frontier, said she only realised she had not declared the company when talking to her family about the controversy surrounding Commissioner of Inland Revenue Wong Ho-sang last Friday. Mr Wong is on a month's leave while he is investigated over a failure to disclose that his wife owns a tax consultancy.
Ms Lau told the Legco Committee on Members' Interests that the Swiss-registered Coco Organisation was set up in May last year to manage her savings and investments overseas.
