Luxury residential prices in most areas rebounded last month as sentiment improved.
Prices in Island South rose 4.4 per cent to $7,292 per square foot. Those in central Mid-Levels were up 0.7 per cent to $7,200 per sq ft.
In Happy Valley, luxury prices picked up 1.4 per cent to $5,754 per sq ft while prices in Kowloon Tong rallied 12.2 per cent to $6,481 per sq ft.
But prices in Shekkipmei fell 2.4 per cent to $5,917 per sq ft. Those in Ho Man Tin were up 1.6 per cent to $6,252 per sq ft.
Luxury prices in Sha Tin slipped 5.2 per cent to $5,025 per sq ft. Prices in Tai Po were unchanged at $4,150 per sq ft.
Mass residential prices on Hong Kong Island were on a downward trend generally. Prices at South Horizons dropped 1.7 per cent to $4,500 per sq ft and those in Taikoo Shing fell 2 per cent to $4,950 per sq ft.
