Young people have welcomed the idea of comic books being categorised and many said those with triad content should be banned.

A survey of 1,142 young people, conducted by youth group Breakthrough during the July 14 to 18 Hong Kong Comics Festival, reported that an overwhelming 70 per cent supported comics being classified into three categories.

About 75 per cent believed comics with heavy triad content would 'mislead' teenagers and nearly 50 per cent agreed that the Government should ban the sale of such books.
