After releasing your first EP, what work do you have sched uled? I'm now busy promoting my first EP and preparing for my album which will be released in November. I am involved in every aspect of production on the album.
I compose songs, write lyrics and do studio work. I know my Chinese is not good, so I spend time discussing things with lyricists. I hope the lyrics express my ideas well.
I pursue perfection and quality in my music. I put quality first, then consider packaging.
What I want is to give my audience the highest quality of music.
Critics say the Hong Kong music industry only produces idols and pretty faces. There is limited room for singer-com posers like you. So, as a new comer, how do you see yourself in terms of the market? I'm an easygoing person. I go with the flow. So, I don't care how people label me. If they think Jun is a teen idol or a singer-composer, let them think that and I respect their comments.
If I worry about what other people think I am, it would put a lot of pressure on me and make me lose interest in music.
