Pledge

I refer to the letter from David Francis Urrows headlined, 'Stranded' (Sunday Morning Post, July 4) about green minibus (GMB) route 49M adhering to the scheduled routeing.

We asked the operator to look into the matter and rectify the situation by instructing his drivers to strictly follow the scheduled routeing.

He pledged to tighten his management control on his drivers to ensure that schedule requirements were fully complied with. We conducted subsequent checks and found that the malpractice had ceased. We will continue to closely monitor the GMB service to ensure that it is operated properly.
