Love Jet takes off for 'floppy disk inventor'

A self-proclaimed genius hit town at the helm of a well-oiled publicity machine yesterday to promote a product he says will improve users' sex lives, make them smarter and help them live to the age of 144.

Dr Yoshiro Nakamats, who claims to have invented the floppy disk and compares himself with French physicist and chemist Marie Curie and American inventor Thomas Edison, arrived to launch the latest of his 3,000-odd inventions, the Love Jet.

The Japanese-born multi-millionaire, whose publicity material states he is a doctor of engineering, law and medicine, said his spray-on sex improver was 'better than Viagra' as it helped men and women triple sexual pleasure 'with no need for foreplay'.

It would also make users smarter and change chemical levels in the body to make them live to the age of 144, all with no side effects, he said.

On hand were a wad of graphs which Dr Nakamats said proved the spray's effectiveness, although he was coy on why the rest of the world's scientific community had apparently missed out on such a marvel.

The spray, applied to the genitals before sex, is available in Japan and the United States, but Dr Nakamats, 71 and married, said sales figures were a secret.
