A 34-year-old man was arrested for allegedly using a video camera hidden in a bag to film up a woman's skirt in Central yesterday.

 He was noticed behaving suspiciously behind the 25-year-old woman when she withdrew money from an automatic teller machine on the ground floor of the HSBC headquarters in Queen's Road Central at about 1.30pm.

 The victim sought help from patrolling policemen and the man ran off before being overpowered by officers.

 'A video camera was found hidden in his bag. A tape taken from the camera contained images of women's underwear,' a police spokesman said.

 The man was released on $2,000 bail to report back on September 15.
