Lee Sai, 61, said Monday's flooding was the third most serious in her 21 years in the village.
'The water came into the [Taoist] temple and was about thigh-high,' she said. 'My master and I had to stay in the cock-loft as we watched the water nearly reaching the top of the altar.'
