POLICE are seeking advice on an assault complaint filed by a Chinese newspaper photographer against district board member Mr Ko Kim-chi. Mr Ko is alleged to have attacked Ming Pao photographer Yik Yeung-man, 24, with a mobile phone outside the High Court building in Admiralty on Tuesday. Mr Ko was leaving the court after testifying at Gilbert Leung's trial and was apparently annoyed by the media. Witnesses said Mr Ko was stopped by two policemen at the scene but Yik left without pursuing the matter. Later, Yik was accompanied by a colleague to make a complaint against Mr Ko at Central police station and to undergo a medical check at Queen Mary Hospital.
