Kung fu star Jet Li Lianjie will marry longtime love Nina Li Chi in Los Angeles, the United States, on Sunday.

 The Lethal Weapon IV villain met the former Miss Asia Pacific seven years ago and he said it was 'love at first sight'.

 Li, 36, shot to fame with the kung fu film Shaolin Temple.

  This is Li's second marriage. He plans to have a low-profile wedding and will invite only his friends, including Lethal Weapon IV star Mel Gibson and producer Joel Silver, and business acquaintances.

  The private reception and dinner will be held at Li's new 10,000-square-foot home in Hollywood.

  His wife-to-be quit showbiz in 1992 to go into the mainland property development business.

   Alan Tam Wing-lun's age has finally been revealed. The Canto-pop king is 49 years old and will celebrate his 50th birthday next year.

  Tam was recently voted president by the other shareholders of the entertainment complex Star East and had to disclose his age and other personal information.

  Every time someone asks the singer how old he is, he jokingly says he is 25.

  'I don't mind now that the cat is out of the bag.

  'I'm not a pop idol so age doesn't make any difference,' Tam said.

 His age has always been a subject of interest to the press and his fans. The singer said he would still claim to be 25 if asked again.

   Singer Bondie Chiu Hok- yee says her love affair with a younger man has ended.

  Rumours had it that her younger boyfriend was Nicholas Tse Ting-fung.

  Tse, who attended a premiere with Lilian Ho Kar-li last week, was bombarded with questions by the press.

  The teen idol said he was never romantically involved with Chiu.

 'I consider her an elder sister. I know who her boyfriend was but I will not disclose the information,' Tse said.

  He also asked the reporters to give Chiu a break and stop the negative coverage of her.
