Randy Moss wanted to work on beating the blitz, but he couldn't outrun the flu bug.
Moss was sent home sick and was added to the Minnesota Vikings' injury report as probable for Monday's (HK time) showdown at Green Bay.
Before he felt queasy, Moss said the Vikings were going to have to start focusing more on making teams pay for blitzing them silly.
'Once defensive co-ordinators saw a lot of the teams during the pre-season blitz us, I think they felt that it might be a weak spot, a weak link in our offence,' Moss said.
'And hopefully we'll pick it up, so I think we just got to . . . practice better week in and week out.' The Vikings are actually daring teams to keep it up, however.
'We like people to blitz,' coach Dennis Green insisted. 'I think if you have the right receivers and you're on your game, then that's a way that you can strike very quickly,' he added.
