I refer to the letter headlined 'A real asset' (South China Morning Post, September 25).
I would like to inform Mr/ Mrs Supplied that if he/she wants a casino he/she can go to Macau, Las Vegas or Atlantic City.
A casino will in every way harm the SAR. The crime rate will shoot up. There will be murders and shootings like in Macau.
Further, just think that when somebody wins a huge jackpot, the loser will get distressed and kill the winner. Is gambling and a rise in crime a good example for minors like me, aged 12 years? Angela Lok, I fully support you.
I hope our Financial Secretary will decide not to build a casino in the SAR.
