Beauty Fountain can benefit from the 10 pounds he receives from All Satisfy to take tonight's sixth event on Sha Tin's mixed dirt and grass card. There won't be much in the way of atmosphere at the track; turnover might be down a fair bit and it's hardly the kind of meeting which will entice new spectators or punters to the sport. But there do appear to be a couple of betting opportunities on the card and Beauty Fountain to win with a main quinella with All Satisfy is one of them. Trainer Alex Wong Yu-on seems to have his lightly raced four-year-old going better than at any time last season when his best effort was probably a half-length second to The Greatest over the Sha Tin mile. The mile is probably a better distance for Beauty Fountain and he may even stay farther this season now he's had another summer on his back. But the zip he's been showing at track work suggests he has learned and improved from last season and that racing fresh, he should handle the shorter trip. He is likely to get shuffled back a bit from barrier two and racing is on the New Bend which means the short straight is in operation. However, such has been the fluency of Beauty Fountain's work, the promise he showed last season and the advantage of the 10 pounds he receives from the main form danger, All Satisfy, that he can come storming home under the demon Douglas Whyte to win going away in the last 30 metres or so. Whyte, himself, is a significant booking. The popular and prolific South African has struck up a good rapport with Wong and seems to have the pick of the rides from the yard. When he's on a Wong Yu-on-trained runner it is always worth at least a second glance. Indeed Whyte has put Beauty Fountain through much of his trackwork this season so he'll be only too well aware of how promising this son of Chariot appears to be travelling in the mornings. All Satisfy is still going to be a big danger. He's taking the demotion from Class Three into Class Four having looked a useful youngster for Chris Cheung Ting-pong last season only to lose his way after a bad piece of interference in the race which saw Bond come down. All Satisfy was the short-priced favourite that night after some improving efforts culminating in a good second to Dolbridge and a defeat of Simon's Decision. But it could be worth remembering that last season All Satisfy and Beauty Fountain made their debuts in the same race, a 1,200-metre Sha Tin event won by No Competitor from Destination. Beauty Fountain flew home into fifth and All Satisfy finished like a certain future winner into sixth, just a head away. They were at level weights that day and while All Satisfy did make more progress, it is questionable whether he has 10 pounds in hand of Beauty Fountain who could be slightly the more forward of the pair. Lawrie Fownes' Metro Traveller could be best of the others. He is the type to make considerable progress from his griffin year. Tonight's 1,400 metres could be a bit on the short side but he could equally come storming home into the payout. Elsewhere on the card, City Fortune is worth a solid win bet in the opener. He put up his career best performance when second at the Valley last time and appears to have trained on extremely well for the move to Gary Ng Ting-keung's in-form stable. He may have most to fear from Apples And Oranges, Smooth Edge and Speedy Dragon. Professionalkiller looks to have the second event at his mercy. For the quinella and tierce, he could be worth combining with Jet Jackson, Light Print, Scenic Star and V-Ming.
