Police have warned parents in Western not to let their daughters out alone after a string of attacks by a serial sex pest who preys on girls in school uniform.
The man has attacked five girls, raping one and indecently assaulting four, and may have lain low for six months before staging another attack last week.
Detectives are almost certain it is the same man and have issued a computer-generated impression of the man.
Western divisional commander, Superintendent Stephen Ho Wai-ming, said the man could have been involved in the rape of a 10-year-old girl and four indecent assaults in Western.
'The victims are schoolgirls who are between 10 and 14 years old. They were attacked while on their way home during lunchtime or after school,' he said.
Assistant Western divisional commander, Acting Chief Inspector Ng Wing-fai, described the cases as 'serious and violent'.
