The new traffic lights which have been installed at the junction of Chung Hom Kok Road and Stanley Gap Road are causing huge traffic jams and they do not appear to be smoothing the traffic flow. Do we really need them and why wasn't a mini-roundabout used instead? The regimented way in which these lights work doesn't take into account the fact that there is a rush out of Stanley in the morning and back in the evening. I believe their use should be reviewed.
