Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) and Henderson Land Development will today detail prices for a jointly developed residential project in Hunghom. Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency executive director Alfred So Chung-keung estimated the Royal Peninsula project would bring about $10 billion in revenue for the developers if all 1,669 units were sold. However, the companies initially planned to retain blocks one, three and five for lease and put up the units in blocks two and four for sale, he said. Royal Peninsula is equipped with the intelligent Home Optical-fibre Network (iHON) system, which allows unit users fast access to the Internet. Mr So said the iHON system would not increase management fees of the project, which stood at $1.9 per square foot a month. He said an optical-fibre network similar to iHON would be introduced into the Ocean Shores development in Tseung Kwan O, a joint-venture between SHKP and Swire Properties.
