Hot wheels

Firefighters inspect the aftermath of a blaze at a Lai Chi Kok garage yesterday which caused three gas cylinders to explode. The fire broke out in the single-storey car repair factory in Castle Peak Road outside Chung Shan Terrace shortly before 8.30am when workers who were conducting metal-cutting work nearby accidentally lit tyres and other items. Firefighters put out the blaze at 9.07am. There were no injuries.
