The import firm that supplied AdMart with fake Bordeaux said yesterday it was not convinced the wine - bought from the Netherlands - was counterfeit. Leung Yick Co. manager Steve So said he hoped to prove the Mouton Cadet was authentic. Mr So said his father started the Wan Chai-based liquor import-export company 50 years ago and it had never before been accused of selling fakes. 'Everything is under investigation . . . we have all the proper documents,' Mr So said. 'I have asked the company in the Netherlands to give me all the supporting documents so we can prove it's not counterfeit.' Asked why he was buying supposedly French wine from the Netherlands, Mr So said it was possible there had been some trans-shipment before the purchase.
