Which of the three finalists will take this year's ANZ Business Excellence Award? It is a closely guarded secret and the finalists themselves have no idea until the awards ceremony, according to the Australian Chamber of Commerce.
It is a top-shelf line-up.
Take Pioneer Concrete (Greater China), part of the big Australian multinational Pioneer International group. Worldwide, group sales revenue was A$3.83 billion (about HK$19.15 billion) last year and it employs more than 11,000 people.
Pioneer Concrete Greater China managing director Bruce Coghlan said the company had developed a highly-skilled team of management and support staff in its 40 years of operations in Hong Kong.
'One of the reasons for our success has been the ability to communicate and adapt company culture in our business across the region. We have proven it is possible.' Hong Kong is the company's base where local staff are trained before being assigned to projects in the region, notably in China and the Philippines.
'We have always been seen as a leader in this industry,' Mr Coghlan said.
