A jobless man ended up in court yesterday because the two prostitutes he robbed told police about a tattoo on his back saying 'Man, I love you'.

Chang Chi-sang, 29, pleaded guilty to robbing the women on separate occasions last December and January in Shamshuipo.

Each time, the Court of First Instance heard, the man agreed to pay $300 for sex services, but did not honour the agreement. Instead, he robbed the first victim of $1,000 and the second of her bank card, which he later threw away without using.

Both women noted the tattoos on his shoulders, arms and back, prosecutor Paul Ho said.

The first woman remembered a tattoo in the shape of a bell on the man's back, while the second also recalled the words 'Man, I love you'.
