SAR-based CommVerge Solutions intends to branch out in Asia in order to tap the growing market for systems-integration services required by telecommunications companies.
The company, which employs 10 staff, recently received about US$10.5 million in capital funding from two Silicon Valley-based venture-capital companies.
Pacific Technology & Investment Group, based in Taiwan, is also an investor in CommVerge Solutions.
CommVerge, launched earlier this year, has established operations in the mainland, Singapore and the Philippines.
It plans to open offices in Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and California by the end of next month.
CommVerge will focus on telecoms-service providers such as wireline and mobile network operators, Internet-service companies and utilities with fibre-optic networks.
