New World China Enterprises Projects plans to invest 300 million yuan (about HK$280.11 million) in three Chinese medicine projects in Sichuan province. It said it planned to grow red-rooted salvia plants in the province. The roots of the plant are used to help treat cardiovascular diseases. The company also plans to establish a centre to assist the commercialisation of research results.
