Masseurs yesterday criticised two district board election candidates who have come out against the setting up of a massage parlour in Western. The Hong Kong Licensed Massage Association's chief executive, Jimmy Chow Chun-yu, said there were no grounds for allegations by Lam Kee-shing of the Democratic Party and Wong Chit-man of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong that the move would attract vice and triads. Mr Chow said the planned parlour had lost potential investors because of the criticisms. 'We are licensed establishments and must operate within the law and be protected by the law,' he said.
