Singapore prize for top inventors

The aspiring inventors who win the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition will be able to participate in the Sec ond Asia Pacific Co-Operation Youth Science Festival in Singa pore next year, where their win ning entries will be exhibited.

In addition, book coupons of up to $5,000 will be awarded to the winning schools.

Organised by the Industry Department in co-operation with the Education Depart ment, Commission on Youth and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the competi tion theme is 'Science for Unity and Progress'.

Teams of up to five students can enter their inventions or in vestigation reports. Entries should be submitted through their schools by February 29.
