SCMP Reporter

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy appeared before San Po Kong Court yesterday charged with murdering his mother.

  Cheung Wing-chuen is alleged to have murdered Ms Lau Chi-man, 48, at a flat in Peace Avenue, Kowloon City. She died on Monday.

 No plea was taken and the case was adjourned until June 8 pending legal advice and a post-mortem examination. Cheung was remanded in jail custody.
