A taxi driver convicted of molesting a woman in the front passenger seat was fined $10,000 yesterday. Ching Chi-lok, 36, was found guilty of indecently assaulting the woman as he drove her and two Japanese passengers from Hong Kong Park View to Causeway Bay on July 27. He had denied the charge. Eastern Court heard the woman, who worked for a service and consultant company, was discussing business in Japanese with her clients sitting behind when she twice felt her breast being touched. Defence counsel Albert Poon told Magistrate Andrew Chan Hing-wai his client 'is unlikely to commit such an offence again as he no longer gets sexually impulsive easily, being at the age of 36'. Ching was going to switch to working in the insurance industry, Mr Poon said.
