Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) will expand the content of its new Internet portal - propertystreet.net - by having other developers offer properties.
The company also announced yesterday a partnership with five leading estate agents to provide lists of properties in the second-hand market to the site - due to be launched next month.
The five agents are Centaline Property Agency, Fortune Realty, Hong Kong Property Services (Agency), Midland Realty and Ricacorp Properties.
SHKP general sales manager Alfred So Chung-keung said the company welcomed other developers joining the service by providing information on their new properties.
SHKP vice-chairman and managing director Raymond Kwok Ping-luen said: 'When users enter this Internet site they will have instant access to property information and market analysis gathered from major property agencies.' Users would save time by not having to conduct property searches through different web pages, he said.
Apart from assisting buyers and sellers, property agencies would also benefit from the site with more business opportunities. The property market would see new vitality, creating a winning situation all round, Mr Kwok said.
