SCHOOL BAND FINDS RIGHT NOTES

Students from Shung Tak Catholic School in Yuen Long presented a $30,000 cheque to the South China Morning Post yesterday.

The money was raised during a two-day function hosted by the student union which featured a live band as well as sales of hand-made accessories and snacks.

Thanks to Mr C. H. Tung's family, who donated $10,000, Clearwater Bay School, $2,770 and Mikura Ltd with $1,000.

These donations brought the money raised on Friday to $77,770, pushing the total fund to $2,382,928.
