Students from St Stephen's College in Stanley held a fashion parade to raise money for Operation Santa.
In a first for the appeal, major fashion companies were courted to sponsor a catwalk parade at the school.
More than 50 models paraded clothes from Marks & Spencer, Shanghai Tang, U2, K Swiss, Sergio Tacchini, United Colors of Benetton and Bossini.
English and drama teacher Erica Cartledge said the idea was to have a sponsored fashion show incorporated into a social evening.
A total of $35,000 was raised. Special thanks go to the students' association and headmaster Derrick Too for his support.
Donations to this year's Operation Santa Claus will go to help blind and visually impaired children in Hong Kong and on the mainland to benefit from an integrated education.
