Reckless

I am concerned about media ethics in Hong Kong.

In order to increase sales figures, some magazine journalists intrude into the private lives of Hong Kong celebrities.

They try to get as much material as they can and often act in a reckless manner.

It is important for these journalists when they are guilty of such unwarrantable intrusions to realise the consequences of their actions.

It is necessary to have laws which protect the privacy of individuals.

News stories in any publication should be objective. They should not take a moral stand, but present the facts.
