CUPS King Bart Cummings, burst back into prominence in his old home town of Adelaide after a relatively quiet season. His crack staying filly Our Tristalight - owned in Hongkong - added to her Group 1 Australasian Oaks win with an equally effortless victory in the Group 1 South Australian Oaks. Cummings believes the improving grey filly is the ideal type to win the A$1 million Caulfield Cup (2,400 metres). Cummings, who won five stakes races during the South Australian carnival, has now set Group 2 Angas Brut Classic (1,200 metres) winner NeverUndercharge for the Group 1 A$525,000 Stradbroke Handicap (1,400 metres) at Eagle Farm in Brisbane on June 12. The colt, winner of the Angas Brut by five lengths, is now 3-1 clear favourite for the Stradbroke after the handicapper allotted him only 50 kgs - 5.5-kg under weight for age.
